Introduction to the Employment Service Centers
Tokyo (Roppongi)
The Tokyo Employment Service Center for Foreigners is a public employment office specializing in providing non-Japanese residents with help-wanted information and employment consultations as well as providing businesses with information on and assistance with employing non-Japanese nationals. The Center is supervised by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan.
Also, the Shinjuku Employment Assistance and Instruction Center for Foreigners provides non-Japanese residents with help-wanted information and employment consultations.
The Osaka Employment Service Center for Foreigners also provides similar services.

* Though the Tokyo Center has its interpreters between English / Chinese and Japanese, they are available on specified dates only. So, if you need an interpreter, please call the Center in advance.

* The Shinjuku Center has its full-time interpreters between English / Chinese / Spanish / Portuguese and Japanese.
